The way you appear, carry yourself.
People might not see straight away you’re a pastor...you seem more relatable...approachable...like them
People have a fear of the church
Methods that worked 10 years ago won’t work today
Different audience being reached/targeted
They need to know you don’t have to be perfect, they feel like they don’t belong in the church because of how Christians present themselves as the holiest of them all
We give people an idea of God but not the reality
For someone to feel like they don’t belong...the presentation is wrong
We need an army to re-present the gospel in different ways, in different atmospheres with different talents
It doesn’t matter who or where you are, there is a seat for you at the table
The word of God is able to transform you
Reintroduce and Re-present Him
Bring EVERYONE in

Meeting people where they are
When you go into places that are “godly” stay on your path while being aware of what is going on around you
How do you stay focused as an evangelist to pass the message but not be influenced??
Remind yourself that you are going into these places to re-present the King
Mandate that you remember who you represent
Although the methods may change its the same message, don’t compromise it
Your approach matters
It’s not about watering down what we do to feel more accepted but rather being more bolder in these spaces that are not godly inch by inch
Not a compromise just an understanding that there are certain types of people’s soul you are after and that you are trying to reach you may have to approach them gentler or in a different way.
Everyone isn’t wired the same, but y’all are still apart of the same team.
Different parts, different instruction manual, different tools, different purpose
One part may be needed to work first before the others can work
They need to see that you can still be relatable and have Jesus at the center
This is the reason why Jesus spoke in parables
He was in engaging in their culture..he could’ve just straight out spit out the heavy truth but spoke in parables..”seeds, reaping, sewing” etc. because there were a lot of farmers at the time so engaged in THEIR culture
He knew it wouldn’t sit in their heart if he couldn’t relate to them
It’s ok to engage the culture without compromising the message
Jesus did anything to make sure they understood him
It may not be for everybody but it is for somebody
Win one soul over fur Christ and Heaven rejoices
“I feel like I’m too saved for the world but too worldly for the church.” - @longlivesamuel
Gave excuses as to why God can’t use me
I don’t act like this or look like that
Disqualified my self
People’s deliverance are being delayed because you won’t allow God to use you
EX. Moses being insecure about his stutter when God told him to go out and deliver his people
There was a whole nation of people depending on him to follow Gods word
The enemy will always try to make you disqualify yourself.
You haven’t done too much or gone too far
“I’m being transparent so you can see and understand the healing and delivering power of Christ. I’m being transparent so it doesn’t take you as long as it took me” -@calledoutmusic
