Life Evangelism/We Are Ministers Too

  • The church being closed has forced people to face their actual faith.

  • Removed distractions

  • Realigned and readjusted their goals

  • People have to read your life, if you can live it they can see it, believe it and they follow it.

  • “Life evangelism”

  • Don’t just claim him and his message, claim the method as well.

    • Every day he was walking, working and touching hearts.

      • You don’t have to reach everybody or have a huge platform.

        • What we believe now came from only 12 disciples.

      • 12 people turned the world upside down for Christ.

      • He took regular people, not influencers. But they were willing to be used.

  • You are not disqualified to preach God's word.

    • Don’t stop telling who you were. Who you might still be and where you are going.

    • You haven’t done too much or gone too far to be used by him.

    • God used liars, killers, thieves, prostitutes etc. But they were WILLING to change, WILLING to be used.

  • God uses the bottom of the barrel people because he does not have to compete with them to get the glory.

    • When we get our accomplishments, jobs, awards, accolades we tend to develop a God complex.

    • We got there "on our own", struggled "on our own"....."Self-Made"

      • Made us to reflect his glory.

      • We exist to glorify him.

      • That can ONLY be God when he brings us up. #TCOBG

  • Take the call in your spirit of influence. He’s not looking for another, he called you.

    • All of your flaws were factored in when God called you.

      • Your deficiencies qualify you to give God glory.

        • All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called. And God has said he called you.

  • He will use what you went through.

  • He might not have sent these things to happen to you but he allowed them to happen for a reason.

  • Be a living testimony.

  • He changed Simon to Peter...he changed his name. Changed his circumstances, his destiny.

  • Moment to change your title.

  • Own your calling.

    • Not owing your calling is like having a car but not driving it. You have access but you don’t use it.

    • Having a car and not wanting to drive it due to fear of getting it dented/damaged and not wanting to add mileage to it.

      • These people want others to come and gaze at their talent and glory at it.

    • If you don’t use your gift, to let it be tested to see what it’s made of, it’s not a gift it’s a talent.

      • A talent is something that entertains YOU, a gift transforms THEM.

        • No one buys a gift and keeps it for themselves, we get gifts to give it away. Because we love the expression on the person’s face receiving it, the impact it has on their life.

  • Stop comparing your seed to someone’s tree.

    • Start now.

  • If you did your best, give it away.

  • Gifts are not about how expensive or perfect, it’s about the heart and love behind it.

  • Don’t sacrifice the good on the altar of perfection.

    • Your good is good enough.

    • In the beginning, God did not see that it was perfect, he saw that it was good.

  • Step off your platform and reach them where they are. Reaching down for souls. That is what this generation needs.

    • Meet people where there are. Go on the journey with them with the hopes of them falling in love with Jesus.

    • Walk with them, don’t tell them or force them where to go but show them.

      • “Life evangelism”

Your response is more important than the reason why. Stop trying to figure out why you're there and how you got there but rather figure...
